We came to Maui 20 years ago on our honeymoon. We fell in love with each other but also with Maui. We're proud and very happy today to be able share our Maui vacation rental with you. Check out our website at www.kapaluasunset.com for more info.

Aloha!
Well, we're back on Maui in our "Kapalua Sunset" villa at the Kapalua Bay Villas. For the most part, it's been quite wintery with rain and lots of clouds. It's so cool to watch the clouds form over and around Molokai and then the island disappears...just gone! The wall of windows make the view ominous and beautiful all at the same time. We've seen whales frolicking in the ocean on the clear days, which is such a great treat.
The grounds at the Bay Villas are so beautiful, and the entire crew has been working very hard at keeping the property looking world class! Ernesto, the landscape designer has created wonderful gardens throughout the property and it's so fun to walk around looking at all the fabulous plants. And there are orhids galore!!! We have a few orchids in our backyard garden that have bloomed consistently over the years. We're the only ones with a private backyard garden and huge lawn off the lanai...that's what makes our "Kapalua Sunset" different than most others at the Bay Villas.
After a day at the beach, golfing or sight-seeing, it's nice to know you have a comfortable place to come home to. We have tried to make our "Kapalua Sunset" a home-away-from-home for all who stay here. We have very unique items that we've collected over the years that you won't see in other condos. Our condo is truly a "home" rather than just a place to stay.
We look forward to seeing your comments in the guest book. There's availability March and April, as well as the summer. And it's never to soon to start planning a holiday vacation on Maui. You can contact us through the website or email us at kapaluasunset@cox.net.
With warm Aloha,
Lisa and Peter Gannon
